Caden Cleveland, an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, is the Community Programs Coordinator at Ho-Chunk, Inc., he leads the Apprenticeship Program, a collaboration with the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s Education Department and Winnebago Public School. He also assists with other development programs that align with both business and community needs, provides educational support to students and builds key relationships with academic and community partners.

Caden has always placed a strong emphasis on education. After graduating as Valedictorian from Winnebago Public School in 2018, he earned his AA in Liberal Arts from Little Priest Tribal College in 2021 and completed his Bachelor’s in Sports Management with honors from Wayne State College in 2023.

Reflecting on his internship at Ho-Chunk, Inc., Caden believes it was essential in helping him build important connections. “It gave me the opportunity to meet people, network, and lay the groundwork for my current role,” he says.

For anyone considering the internship, Caden offers this advice: “It’s one of the best internships in Nebraska. You’ll gain valuable experience and develop skills that will benefit you throughout your career.”
