Von Seggern Named Nebraska State Bar Foundation Fellow

WINNEBAGO, Neb. – Allyson Von Seggern, General Counsel for Ho-Chunk, Inc., has been named a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation, a distinguished honor recognizing attorneys for their integrity, leadership, and dedication to the legal profession and public service.

The Nebraska State Bar Foundation selects Fellows by invitation only, honoring a select group of legal professionals who have demonstrated excellence in their practice, distinguished service to the legal field, and a commitment to justice and community engagement. As a Fellow, Von Seggern joins a network of esteemed attorneys working to advance law-related education, public service initiatives, and the administration of justice in Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Bar Foundation Fellows Program is considered one of the highest honors in the state’s legal profession. Fellows are selected not only for their professional achievements but also for their commitment to strengthening the legal system through education, public service, and community outreach.

Von Seggern earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014 and her law degree from the Indian Legal Program at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2017. An enrolled descendant of the Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin and a first-generation descendant of the Mandan, Arikara, and Hidatsa Nation, she also is a member of the Arizona and Nebraska State Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. She serves as an At-Large Member of the Nebraska State Bar Indian Law Section Executive Committee.
