HO-CHUNK, INC. DIVISION WINS $46 MILLION DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR CONTRACT

Image text April 19, 2017, Winnebago, Nebraska – The Flatwater Group, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., was awarded a 5-year IDIQ $46 million contract by the Department of Interior (DOI) Division of Energy and Mineral Development (DEMD), announced Lance Morgan, President and CEO. Ho-Chunk, Inc. is the economic development corporation owned by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.

 

The contract, awarded to Flatwater Inc., a company within the Flatwater Group, is for professional services, including petroleum and mining, engineering, geologic and geophysical mapping, economic development personnel, geologists, NIOGEMS software development, and other administrative support. Initially, the contract includes 29 personnel, with a potential for expansion of personnel throughout the life of the contract.

 

Erin Morgan, Director of the Flatwater Group said, “We are pleased to work with the DOI again. This particular contract is our first with the Division of Energy and Mineral Development, and we are excited to utilize our capabilities in professional services to provide quality solutions and excellent customer service.”
