Siouxland Advertising Veterans Join Blue Earth
Blue Earth Marketing, a full-service marketing and advertising agency located in Winnebago, Nebraska has recently announced the addition of two new members to its staff.
Don Leiting, a 21-year client services and sales management veteran, joins Blue Earth Marketing as the firm’s Client Services Director. Among Leiting’s responsibilities will be new business development and client service, including development of client marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, promotions, collateral development, sales programs and public relations. He will also oversee day-to-day client relations, and supervision of client projects. As a member of the Blue Earth creative team, Leiting will assist in developing marketing and creative concepts for client projects.
Leiting comes to Blue Earth from KPTH-TV in Sioux City where he most recently served as Local Sales Manager. Prior to joining KPTH Leiting was the Local/Regional Sales Manager for KMEG-TV in Sioux City and was also an account executive for KTIV-TV. Leiting began his career as a producer at Columbine CableVision in Fort Collins, Colorado. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City.

Also joining the Blue Earth team is Todd Plummer, an award-winning, 18-year graphic design and art direction veteran who will be the firm’s new Art Director. Plummer’s responsibilities will include development of client marketing and advertising materials including print, internet, interactive, environmental and other design projects. He will also work with members of the agency team to create and develop overall concepts for Blue Earth clients and facilitate development of the concept into all elements of client campaigns.
Plummer comes to Blue Earth from John Holmes Publishing in Whiting, Iowa, the leading national publisher in the automotive recycling industry, where he served as Art Director and creative lead for the publisher. In his position he worked not only on the design of the national publication, but also on web and intranet design, trade show exhibits and advertisements for both inside and outside clients. Prior to taking his position with John Holmes Publishing, Plummer was a graphic designer for the Nobel’s County Pioneer. Plummer has a degree in commercial art from Iowa Lakes Community College.
