Multi-Million Dollar U.S. Department of the Navy Contract
Winnebago, NE, January 10, 2007 – All Native Systems, a subsidiary of Ho-Chunk, Inc. headquartered in Winnebago, Nebraska was recently awarded a multi-million dollar contract to provide all telecommunications and networking services provided by the Base Communications Office (BCO) at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Jacksonville Detachment New Orleans (NCTS JAX DET New Orleans) through September of 2007.
Under the contract, All Native Systems will provide for the telecommunications and networking service requirements necessary to support resident and tenant organizations within the area of responsibility of the NCTS JAX DET New Orleans BCO during periods of peacetime, military exercise, natural disaster and war. In order to support the effective provisioning of telecommunications and networking services for the United States Navy, All Native Systems will conduct requisite planning, scheduling assistance and instruction, record keeping, billing, configuration management, as well as provide, manage, and maintain labor, materials and equipment.
The mission of the NCTS JAX DET New Orleans BCO is to provide quality Base Communications Services and Information Systems in a cost-effective and efficient manner to Navy shore activities, to include assigned and visiting aviation squadrons, and to authorized non-Navy government activities in the vicinity of New Orleans and Gulfport, Mississippi. The BCO at New Orleans is a major organizational component of the NCTS JAX DET New Orleans under NCTS Jacksonville, Florida.
