Native Plains Pharmacy is a mail-order fulfillment pharmacy located in the Ho-Chunk Village Development in Winnebago, Nebraska. The pharmacy, which began operations in April, 2007, markets name brand and generic pharmaceuticals to clinics and other medical facilities throughout the United States.

Native Plains utilizes state-of-the-art equipment including a Parata RDS (Robotic Dispensing System) capable of filling 150 prescriptions per hour. This high efficiency will allow Native Plains to keep overhead at a minimum. By combining low overhead and preferential pricing through a number of federal programs, Native Plains can be extremely price competitive.

A licensed pharmacist and other technicians are on staff to provide services to the medical community and up-to-date information and fulfillment services.

Native Plains Pharmacy is currently in discussions with a number of tribal clinics to become their pharmacy of choice. By taking advantage of Native Plains’ advanced technology, clinics can have prescriptions filled and shipped within two days while benefiting from competitive prices that will reduce their overhead.

Future plans for Native Plains Pharmacy include expansion into the general consumer market, providing prescription services at discount prices.
