
LANCE MORGAN
|
Lance Morgan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Ho-Chunk, Inc. He is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Morgan is also a partner in the law firm of Fredericks, Peebles & Morgan, LLP, specializing in Indian law, and owner/ consultant of Lance Morgan Consulting, working with tribes on economic development strategy and structural issues. He is a frequent speaker on Indian Law and Tribal Economic Development issues.
Morgan serves as a board member for Dynamic Homes of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; Liberty National Bank of Sioux City, Iowa; Fort Peck, Inc.; Winnebago Gaming Board. In 2006, he was appointed to the Consumer Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. Morgan also serves as adjunct professor at several universities across the United States.
Morgan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Nebraska (B.S., 1990) and graduated from Harvard Law School (J.D., 1993). He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association and the Nebraska Bar Association.

ANNETTE HAMILTON

Annette Hamilton is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ho-Chunk, Inc. She is an enrolled member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas.
Hamilton is responsible to help oversee HCI’s subsidiaries and their daily operations. Hamilton has been honored as a 2007 national finalist in the annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The Stevie Awards honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run – worldwide.
Prior to her association with Ho-Chunk, Inc., Hamilton was employed as a Financial Analyst and Manager of Financial Reporting for Gateway, Inc, an international computer manufacturer. Her career spans finance positions in both private industry and certified public accounting.
Hamilton earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

DENNIS JOHNSON

Dennis Johnson is Chief Financial Officer for Ho-Chunk, Inc. Johnson is responsible for managing the financial activities of HCI and its subsidiaries. He is also an integral part of the development of the companies’ future financial goals, plans and strategies.
Prior to being promoted to CFO of HCI, Dennis served as one of two controllers in charge of the daily financial operations of HCI. Dennis is an enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians of Minnesota.
Johnson is a graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, and earned a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of South Dakota.

SHARON BASS

Sharon Bass is Operations Manager for Ho-Chunk, Inc. She is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Bass is responsible for assisting in coordination and strategic planning for the corporation and its subsidiaries. She is also the Training Officer for employee training programs throughout the company.
Prior to her association with Ho-Chunk, Inc., Bass was the Title III Advising Center Coordinator for Little Priest Tribal College and has been associated with the college in a variety of roles since 1999.
Bass earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and a Master’s degree in Education from Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, Iowa.

SARAH SNAKE

Sarah Snake is Secretary and Director of Human Resources for Ho-Chunk, Inc. She is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Snake began her HR experience in 1981 as a member of the Personnel Office for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. She also was employed by the Public Health Nursing Program and administered the Winnebago Tribal Court for several years.
Sarah joined HCI in 2000 and built the Department of Human Resources for the corporation. She is a longtime member of the Winnebago community, graduating from Winnebago public schools and attending DQ University in Davis, California. |
